Abstract
This comic is the product of a collaborative research project, funded by the Wellcome trust, between Bath Spa University's We Are The People team and Queer Out Loud. Our project explored experiences of sexual expression among queer disabled people living in southwest England, including successes and barriers in experiencing sexual pleasure. We created an online survey and ran a disability and sexual expression workshop, this comic contains fictionalised examples of the stories shared by queer disabled people who took part. We hope that our research will help raise local awareness about the intersection of disability, sex, and queer identities and the experiences of queer disabled people. Our goal is that conversations about disability and sexual expression become normalised, without people experiencing fear or stigma.
